Hi,
Here's how I tried to add another rhythmical pattern to ternary exercises:
1) I added text 'rhythm-r8c16c16c16c16' to SolfegeIconFactory section of
share\solfege\src\stock.py ('r' means rest there), so the end of the
section looked like that:
'rhythm-wrong','rhythm-r8c16c16c16c16']
2) I created an icon called 'rhythm-r8c16c16c16c16.png' - the name
should exactly fit the previous change. I'm not sure how the author made
these icons (I just copied another icon for a test), anyway, you can
always create them with transparency-aware image editor changing the
existing icons;
3) added an exercise called 'rhythm-ternary-plus' to
share\solfege\lesson-files folder (note the '35' - it's the additional
pattern, and 'count_in_notelen' - it seems to make the exercise
ternary), the exercise is attached.
No compilation needed. Check whether this technique fits your needs.
Bye,
Ruslan

Hi all,
I'm a solfege teacher in a french conservatory, and I thanks all
people who worked to the development of GNU solfege. I used it
sometime in class with my students. It's a wonderful activity.
I have a question : it is possible to include ternary rythms like
those I join, and many others combination ? Currently, some ternary
rythms combination are missing. Sadly, I'm not programmer and can not
do this myself...
If I can help in any ways, please tell me.
Excuse my poor english.
Thanks,
Baptiste Chopin
