When did you last run "sudo port selfupdate"? By searching for some
terms from your error message, I found bug reports that make it look
like there was a problem with autoconf some time in the past few days
that has since been fixed. I recommend:
1) "sudo port clean glib2" to make sure the failed installation attempt
didn't leave a mess behind
2) "sudo port selfupdate" again, so your computer knows about the latest
versions of everything
3) "sudo port -u upgrade outdated", which I hope will fix autoconf and
anything else that might have been updated in the past day
4) try "sudo port install solfege" again, which hopefully will go better
with autoconf fixed.
Good luck! --Allen

Hallo,
I can't run gnu solfege on my mac pro (snow leopard).
I've installed xcode and macports,
I do this step:
"2. Once MacPorts is installed, open a terminal window and type "sudo
port install solfege" (without quotes), and enter your password when
prompted. MacPorts will do its work for a while, first building
dependencies and then building Solfege itself."
but I receive this message:
