: We might also want to pre-populate the index before packaging. I'd rather see the the demo include XML files containing add/update/delete/commit/optimize messages and a script that sends all the adds and a commit ... then it's really obvious to people *how* to populate/modify an index.
If we just ship them a prebuilt index and there's some documentation on how to add more docs, they might overlook something and get frustrated. -Hoss
