OK, we're now on Lucene 2.3.

I didn't mention scorePayload in CHANGES... it was marked experimental
at the time, it's very rare for anyone to be using payloads in Solr
yet, and if they do hit this then they should get a clear error
message from the JVM.

But it can still be added to CHANGES if someone still thinks it's important.
