I use collapsing in an online store and need to do a quite complex price
calculation for every collapse group based on the products behind that group. I
also thought about doing a second query, but that is not an option as I would
have to do that for every group (i have up to 100 groups per request). So doing
the calculation outside the scope of solr but retrieving the necessary data
from solr seems to be the best approach for me. I agree that this functionality
should be disabled by default.
