Hey Ryan,
You are exactly right. When I created the patch in Eclipse, it negated to do
the add +++ part of the patch b/c it saw the files as getting moved. Note
that's why the patch doesn't apply -- it tries to make changes to the response
writer class packages based on the path
org/apache/solr/response/<WriterName>.java, which doesn't exist yet.
To apply this patch:
1. first move the response writers into a new folder (response). Also copy
SolrQueryResponse there.
2. apply the patch
