This may be the last time that will work. See the thread on the changes to all the numeric types... it doesn't seem like the IndexUpgrader will be able to handle that transition? Not to mention the fact that Solr 6 is using deprecated Lucene 6 numeric types.... if those are removed in Lucene 7, then what? -Yonik
