Nevermind. It
looks like the TELE had a major IP address change overnight temporarily
(the @home - cox network changeover) and it confused our PRO for a
while. I just changed the IPSEC destination on the PRO to the current TELE
address, then back to 0.0.0.0. It reset itself OK for now. I'm
rather surprised it did this. You're suppose to be able to put in 0.0.0.0
for remote users on DHCP, so if their address changes , the VPN will still stay connected, right?
Anyone else see this problem?
I have 4 SonicWALLs1 TELE2 - 192.168.0.X1 Pro - 192.168.10.X1 XPRS2 - 192.168.40.X1 TELE - 192.168.50.XThe PRO is the main firewall, the rest connect via manual IPSEC VPN. On the TELE 192.168.50.X (Another home user connected to the office), I keep getting these error messages in the log:01/25/2002 07:22:43.080 - IPSec packet from illegal host - Source:192.168.10.71 - Destination:68.1.17.2 - SPI:4A5B -
The source changes randomly through the range of 192.168.10.X. The destination is a Cox (Cable Service) East POP3 email server. I have no idea what's going on here. The other XPRS2 & TELE2's are working just fine, no errors. These messages repeat every minute or so. The only difference between all of these SonicWALLs is that the firmware on the TELE is older than the rest, however, it is the latest version available from SonicWALL. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
