Chris,

The SonicWALLs are shipped with everything allowed from the LAN to the 
WAN.  You might be surprised at what else is making it from the LAN to the 
WAN or even DMZ with the Default rules in place.

The First thing I do on any firewall is to Deny everything from the LAN to 
the DMZ and to the WAN.   Then  just add the Ports that are needed for 
normal usage,  this will very from company to company.
