Trying to implement the bandwidth management features of a SOHO3 and am
running into trouble. Has anyone gotten it working?

Details: I have a 768/768 SDSL line coming into the house, and I'd like
to set up limits so that no matter what impact a particular service is
running, I know other services will run -- if someone's downloading a
huge file from my web site, I'd like the mail server to still be up and
running happily.

I installed Direct Connect (a P2P application) with the intent of
creating a rule to limit outbound bandwidth to 200 kbps, but it's still
consuming all of the available bandwidth (yes, I can limit it in the
application itself, but I want to make sure the Sonicwall is running
properly as I'll apply limits/guarantees to all services).

Here's what's going on:

Firmware: 6.3.1.0
1) Under advanced --> ethernet, I've turned on bandwidth management and
told it I have 640 kbps available (assuming it's kilobits per second,
not kilobytes).
2) Under logging, I've determined that it's TCP Port 412 traffic that's
consuming most of the bandwidth, so I've gone to the appropriate rule,
enabled bandwidth management, and set limits of 20/200.

And it's still consuming most of the available bandwidth.

Any hints?

Thanks.
