/diag.html I'm just now testing the "Enable dead peer detection" option there, but until now, it seems not to be working, because Sonicwall said that all attempted traffic from the PROxx to the remote sites (not clients in this case) were "Dead peer detection" packets - but disabling the feature cartainly did not disable the traffic from the PROvx to the remote Sonicwalls. Sonicwall has failed so far, in explaining what kind of traffic it is the PROvx is sending out.
Today changed tho PROvx to a PRO300 (more RAM) to alleviate another problem. Anyways, not really the same problem as yours- sorry, but will keep you posted on the progress. /jesper -----Original Message----- From: Marc A. I replaced my PRO backup unit with the Pro300 that SW shipped me last month to replace a broken VX. I also upgraded the firmware on the ProVX at my other site so they would be the same version. Remote users on the VPN are having problems keeping connections to the sonicwall. It looks like there are a bunch of "Keep Alive" requests being sent and if one is lost, the connection is dropped. Before, we have the remote VPN connections rock solid, and the firmware upgrade seems to have broken something. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Anyone know a solution?! Also, what was the URL for the "hidden" configurations? --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude/F-Prot AV] ================================= To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the body of the email put the following: unsubscribe sonicwall your_name The archive of this list is at http://www.mail-archive.com/sonicwall%40peake.com/ --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude/F-Prot AV] ==================================================================================================To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the body of the email put the following: unsubscribe sonicwall your_name The archive of this list is at http://www.mail-archive.com/sonicwall%40peake.com/
