Hey John,
Thanks for the note!
I’m thinking I just might wait for
2.3 to come out. We are having a heck of a time just getting SGMS to see a
test Sonicwall we want it to manage.

I am a managed Internet Security Provider, so I sell
managed service to my customers using SGMS. It is a challenge for
sure. There are quite a few bugs that I have had to work through,
specifically with upgrades through SGMS. I have had to do many of them by
directly logging into the boxes themselves, rather than through SGMS.
If you haven't already, I would set one of your speed dial
buttons to SonicWall Tech Support. It is a very nice product, but they
have some issues to work through. They say that many will be addressed
with the 2.3 release.
Let me know if I can be of help.

Introduction
Hi,
My name is Paul Mills and I work for the Heritage Trail Library System,
one of 12 regional systems in the state of Illinois. We recently
deployed about 40 Sonicwall boxes at some of our member libraries so
that they would have a true firewall and so that we could set up a vpn
to secure the data we transmit.
We are still working on some kinks. Probably the biggest one is getting
SGMS to work.
Thanks!
