I’m on the phone right now with sonicwall tech support. They tell me that yesterday a new firmware version has been released to fix the lock up and other problems. Info about this latest release is available on their web site.

Unfortunately, under f/w6.3.1.0 our Pro VXs were up and down like a whore's drawers even with Auto Negotiate disabled, so it isn't a foolproof fix.

The standard reply for mysterious lockups and reboots is to make SURE your LAN and WAN ports are NOT set to Auto Negotiate.(Advanced/Ethernet tab)

Set it to anything other than Auto.
