This sounds like the opposite of what SW told me. Previously, all my VPN clients used Main Mode. When I upgraded the firmware, the old policy file did not work. SW told me that a new policy was required and had to use aggressive.
Lost of people are using the new policy with minimal or no problems. No one is complaining, yet this is in the log ALL THE TIME. > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Hunt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2002 9:25 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [SonicWALL]- What is causing this?? > > > > Could this be it? > Chris > ===================================================================== > Question:Is it possible to force the SonicWall to use > aggressive mode IKE > instead of main mode? > > Answer:It is possible to force the SonicWall to use > aggressive mode IKE > instead of main mode for individual security associations. > There is no > global setting for this. > > 1.
