In other words, more proof that AOL wants to control all.

"Currently the VPN client and AOL v6.0 are not compatible and should not be installed on the same system. Reverting to AOL v5.0 might work better. No version of AOL is officially supported in use with the VPN client. If there are there any NAT routers/proxy servers in front of either the SonicWall (not on the SonicWall itself) or the VPN client it's quite likely the VPN connection will fail. Almost all NAT routers are not compatible with the IPSec VPN protocol and will prevent it from working properly. Check with your ISPs to make sure they are not possibly filtering IKE and/or IPSec. Odd as it seems, we've run across more than a few instances where this was the case. Does the computer with the VPN client installed on it have a NIC installed that has an IP address in the same subnet as the LAN behind the SonicWall? If so, Windows will try to use it instead of VPN to connect to any IP address in that same subnet."
