Why would you have to change the password,
just use the pre-shared key and set up IAS... it's much nicer and you can add /
remove users from your domain at will... this will come in extremely handy if
they ever decide to upgrade to 50 / 100 VPN users...

with creating a VPN connection using W2K, so I am not sure on that.
I know some one
mentioned a way to create a connection with out the VPN client, but I do not
remember the specifics.
The easiest would be
the VPN client using the group VPN, but if one user leaves, all users have to
change the password.
I have a client that
has 10 users that are going to use the VPN client. With that amount, I am going
to create a separate VPN connection for each instead of using the group VPN.

It seems that using the Win2k native local
policy appears to be much cleaner, but this may be because of my inexperience
using the SNWL VPN client.
Which of the two would you
recommend? Bear in mind that I'm implementing this for end users.

using the Sonicwall VPN Client installed on Windows 2000 Pro?
