Spomenik žrtvama NATO i OVK u Mitrovici Sreda, 27. jun 2007. 15:09 Spomenik Istina, posvećen poginulima u NATO bombradovanju i žrtvama Oslobodilačke vojske Kosova, otkriven je u sredu u severnoj Kosovskoj Mitrovici u neposrednoj blizini mosta na Ibru. Nekoliko stotina gradjana poručilo je sa skupa da se neće miriti sa evenutalnom odlukom kojom će se proglasiti nezavisnost Kosova i Metohije, ali da neće reagovati jer je nedužnih žrtava bilo previše. Oni su, takodje, poručili da će se boriti svim legitimnim sredstvima kao i da se nadaju se će rešenje biti kompromisno jer je to jedino pravedno. Na spomeniku visokom šest metara, sa kupolom na kojoj je krst sa četiri ikone Belog andjela, ispisana su imena 194 žrtve iz Kosovsko-mitrovačkog okruga. Takodje ostavljena su mesta i za imena 39 kidnapovanih i nestalih čije sudbine još nisu rasvetljene. Spomenik je otkrio predsednik Kosovsko-mitrovačkog okruga Momimr Kasalović.
