Government adopts NATO document 28 July 2007 | 10:26 | Source: Beta *BELGRADE -- The government adopted Friday a Presentation Document for NATO’s Partnership for Peace Program. *By the adoption of the document, Serbia has chosen the Program’s activities in which it will participate, Ministry of Defense representatives told Beta news agency. The framework document of the Partnership for Peace says that subscribing states are obligated to provide the NATO authorities with Presentation Documents identifying the steps they will take to achieve the political goals of the Partnership and the military and other assets that might be used for Partnership activities. NATO will then propose a program of partnership exercises and other activities consistent with the Partnership's objectives. Based on this program and its Presentation Document, each subscribing state will develop with NATO an individual Partnership Program. Serbia has joined the Partnership for Peace on November 29, 2006.
