The Intrnational Radio Serbia Dinkic: Nis becoming center for investments

ImageIn the following period the city of Nis will become a center of investments in the area of infrastructure, construction of the Southern Stream gas line and Corridor 10, for which the financial construction has been closed, announced Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Mladjan Dinkic. He told the participants of the Nis Investment Forum 2008 that the city should get duty free zones, as well as that extra stimulations from foreign investments have been planned for Nis. Dinkic pointed that the goal of Serbia is to be the most convenient destination for foreign investments and export, which should lead to lower foreign trade deficit. Any new opened working place will be financed by the state with 5,000 euros, emphasized Dinkic, adding that after Kragujevac, Nis is practically the priority of the Government in the regional development of Serbia. We are the only country in Europe with the agreement on free trade with EU countries, Russia and regional states, and we will soon have the negotiations on the same subject with the Ukraine and Belarus, reminded Dinkic.
