Blockade of the Leposavic-Raska road in northern Kosmet continues June 25, 2009 Image A group of citizens from Leposavic and Zubin Potok, Kosmet, have continued with a selective blockade of the Leposavic-Raska and the Zubin Potok-Ribarice-Novi Pazar roads, not allowing EULEX vehicles to pass, in protest against the introduction of customs control of that mission on the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings, between northern Kosmet and central Serbia. Leposavic Municipality President Goran Lazovic said that, if EULEX customs officers do not withdraw from those crossings, EULEX police vehicles will not be let either. Kosmet Serbs pointed out they are willing to pay customs fees, but to the state of Serbia and not to the so-called state of Kosovo, he said.
