I have merged Henry's branches oldbugs and inplacealias to master and built new release candidates for win/linux/mac 32/64 that run clean.
This release is beta-5. See http://www.jsoftware.com/download/jengine for more details, Changes are documented only by their branch name, but details can be easily found by searching this forum. If interested please install and play with these builds. Problems are much better found now than later. NOTE: I have not yet deleted on the remote repo the branches that have been merged.
