Marc--

You are quite right. This is a hassle for me too. We discussed a sync feature
at length some time
ago and I implemented a server-side plugin in 2.1 with the idea that it could
be used to do a
quick sync of all changes as of a certain date (as of the last sync, perhaps).

The server-side plugin collects all actions performed on the archive in a given
day into a log
file. All we need is another plugin that can send this info to the client and a
client-side plugin
that can read through these actions and translate them into a script of some
sort. Delete file x.
Move file y from here to there. Get latest version of file z. That sort of
thing.

The existing plugin could also be used to generate an activity report.
Something like--what did
user x do over the past week? Or better yet, what did I do over the past week.
I'm thinking
something like this might be very helpful in filling out timesheets for those
of us who sometimes
get a little behind.

Albert--

No one is collecting this stuff right now. It would be nice to get Jira up and
running. We can
keep submitting ideas informally to this list, though. Everything is archived
and if need be,
anyone can go back through these messages and collect the individual tasks.
