I am reproducing the message that I posted to sw-posters alias last week (ref: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=105512&tstart=0) . Could someone please respond to my questions? In short, I am interested in finding out if CMake is available on the Source Juicer build system; and if not available, what is the process to get that package installed? --
Here is some context: I'm trying to build a software package that has a build time dependency on CMake. So far all my attempts to build the package using Source Juicer are unsuccessful with the error message similar to ".. required package xxxcmake not installed". Not knowing whether CMake is available on Source Juicer build machine, I randomly tried the package names 'cmake', 'SUNWcmake' and 'CBEcmake' in the spec file. Is CMake available on the build system? If yes, what is the package name I should be using in the spec file? If not, what is the proper procedure to get it installed [on the Source Juicer]? Is there any way to find out which tools and packages are installed on the Source Juicer build system, along with their versions? Having access to this information sure saves some time and effort. - Giri -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
