For package owners whose package builds and may have one or more +1 votes, but who know that a is not ready to be promoted to contrib, I'd like to ask you to please temporarily vote -1 on your package until you feel the package is ready to be voted on and eligible for promotion to /contrib.
This will make it much easier for pkg reviewers to know what packages they should be voting on and it will help us focus on promoting the packages which are known to be ready. In the future we hope improve the interface to make it easier to determine when a package is ready for review. Thank you for your help.
