Andrew, Thank you for the suggestion. I agree with the need for a better indication of package readiness. We've been discussing this and other interface changes. I had hoped the -1 vote could be used as a stopgap, but you're correct that it won't work for all package owners. For now we will have to continue to rely on this email alias to indicate that a package is ready to be reviewed as a candidate for promotion to /contrib.
