Kidnappers have not yet released as they promised two catholic priests
who were abducted from their residence late on Sunday night in Rabak,
Sudan.

Church sources in Khartoum told FIDES that the kidnappers had promised
to release yesterday evening the two priests kidnapped on January 15,
but so far they have not done it.

The two priests, Joseph Makwey, 45, and Sylvester Mogga, 35, were
kidnapped on Sunday evening, January 15, in the parish of Saint
Josephine Bakhita, in Rabak, a town 60 kilometres south of Khartoum.

Auxiliary Bishop Daniel Adwok Kur of Khartoum, told Aid to the Church
in Need that the neighbors said they saw a truck full of people break
through the parish gate.

They took the priests away together with many things from their house.

Neighbours said they heard gunfire and found blood in the house.
