Orphans choir helping to overcome trauma
Sunday, 22 July 2012 06:00 Lagu Francis South Sudan >>> . A Christian organization called the Hands of Grace is calling for a show of love and care for children in South Sudan. Hands of Grace urges the public not to marginalize children. "Children are very important to everybody in this world. In the Republic of South Sudan, we need to assure everybody that the children have been totally marginalized, they have been totally abused, they don't have peace and they are totally traumatized", said Martin Mogga, the chairman of the organization. Speaking to Radio Miraya during the launch of the Hands of Grace Peace Orphan Choir on Saturday, Mogga said they are helping the children to overcome trauma. "The Hand of Grace is going to take over the responsibility of looking after these children like training them in order to forget being lonely, suffering and remember that there is something good in this world, that God loves them and all we people love them also," he added. Mogga said the children's choir will be national and will target children from all the ten states whom he said will also travel abroad to testify through their songs. The organization says it has brought together 65 vulnerable children mainly orphans who lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and those in the streets. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
