WAU COMMUNITY INVITED TO PEACEFUL RESOLUTION Tuesday, 27 November 2012 14:10 | The Speaker of Western Bahr el-Ghazal State Legislative Assembly has invited the members of the community of Wau County to follow legal and peaceful ways to express their disagreements of transferring the County headquarters to Baggari.
Andrea Mayar Acho said Wau Community can appeal to the Constitutional Court against the resolution of the government. He asked all the executive organs and the community to maintain the current stability and use legal ways to resolve problems. Mr. Mayar explained that anyone can make a mistake, but a mistake can be corrected in a peaceful way. He explained that he will sit with the community elders and the intellectuals to resolve the conflicts. The Speaker called on the Wau County MPs to present a memorandum concerning those conflicts.
