The Red Army Foundation or Jesh Ameer on Saturday installed a new
chairperson and his deputy to run the organization for the next two
years.

Newly installed chairperson Deng Bol Aruai said the general assembly
installed the new administration after the election conducted last
March, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said the foundation has three main objectives: to provide services
to the members, preserve its legacy and history and support nation
building.

Mr Bol presented his 100 days programme that includes the
establishment of state offices and membership registration.

He said membership registration starts in Juba on Monday.

Mr Bol said the Red Army will extend the registration drive to the
diaspora in the United States, Australia, Canada and East Africa.

He added that the foundation wills also built centres to help members
traumatised by the war.

Mr Bol explained that all kids who endured the suffering of the
21-year civil war are members of the Red Army Foundation, especially
IDPs, refugees and those who served in the SPLA.
