TORIT BLAST DEATH TOLL RISES TO 3 Thursday, 30 May 2013 14:41 | Thursday’s Torit blast death toll at Enyif residential area of Torit County reached to three.
One of the three children who had survived died on Friday, a day after the blast, while another battles life without a leg, Emmanuel Radio reported. Torit Hospital administrator Abwoch James confirmed the report of the death of the third victim of the explosion after admission to the emergency unit at the state hospital. Mr Abwoch said one of children admitted to the hospital was amputated and is in a stable condition, hoping that both patients positively respond to medical treatment. Unexploded ordinance exploded last Thursday at around 3.00 PM, killing two children and wounding three others. The deadly explosion happened while the children were playing with bomb. Eastern Equatoria minister of health, Margaret Itto, regretted the death of the children saying parents should take precautions against risky areas with unexploded ordinances. < Prev Next > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
