*By Waakhe Simon Wudu* *JUBA, 07 October 2013 [Gurtong] – *Hon. Manasseh Lomole, the state Deputy Governor told a crowd in Juba that the vehicles were bought following the wanton continuous insecurity attacks along the Taban Lolyong road. “Central Equatoria State government has purchased two land rovers to patrol the Kajokeji road,” Lomole said. In recent days insecurity along the Juba-Kajokeji road has created fears following loss of lives of civilians and property as a result of robbers along the way. Lomole said the State is taking swift measures to crack down the criminals though for over two years now, the insecurity problem has remained persistent along the road. On a different note, he also said insecurity in Juba has improved following combined efforts of both the State and authorities of the national government. “Things seem to have improved. Now the criminals have moved from the heart of the city to the peripheries of Juba,” Lomole said. “We the State we had been working heard all the time, but the criminals keep changing their strategies like chameleon. But they will be paid in their own currency,” Lomole continued.
