* TORIT, 26 July 2015 [Gurtong]* -While addressing a meeting attended by
his ministry's Director General, Director for Radio and Television, radio
editors and reporters, in his office in Torit last week, the State
Information and Communication Minister, Hon. Mark Akio Ukinbul said
bureaucracy must be abolished as it hinders performance.

He told the Directors to always remain flexible and able to respond
positively to complexities promptly.

Mark Akio said that there must be cooperation among Directors and junior
employees.

His remarks followed numerous complaints raised by his Ministry’s junior
staff during a monthly meeting he presided over in his office in Torit last
week Wednesday.

The Ministry’s junior staff, at the Wednesday's meeting, said "we have to
work together and roll up our sleeves."

The junior staff had earlier complained that there is lack of flow of
information between them and their seniors hence slowing down service
delivery.
