I personally and the entire government of Jonglei state has appreciated the

around Bor town because this the only vocational training center in the
state that offering the technical skills uneducated personal and educated
personal they will help themselves to in order to feed their families she
elaborate.

She said the education is the backbone of the nations around the world and
south Sudan is a part of the world we should have to focus on the
vocational skills its will help us in developing this great nation very
fast. If the two to three students are graduated yearly in vocational
schools in each states of south Sudan its main that the whole country is
going to benefit from them because these is rear in our state it’s the
first time to have it said Susan Lith.

Susan Lith said, “I have appreciated the missionaries and donors especially
Star Fish Foundation for helping us to build this very nice vocational
collage it will help our children to build the capacity and also it will
help those who are seeking for a job around the state and we are always
advocating to job creation for the youth across the state and the whole
country and now we have got the dream has become true Star Fish Foundation

Now we are going to have our owned children who are electrical engineering

The skills that student have gain here are very marketable skills they have
got the skill that will give them a job definitely because a lots of people
are looking for electricians and other people are looking for carpentry
experts so we have produce them here and they are well equip they will help
the community he said.

He said last year we graduated good number of students most of them are now
working for United Nations Mission in South Sudan [UNMISS], others are
working with government of Jonglei state, Humanitarians agencies and some
are now working with the business community in Bor market so there are
great evident our product have been employ by individual around the state.

He urges the communities around Jonglei to send their children the

instead of looking for jobs from the government and the UN agencies you
have to pass through vocational school if you have dropout from academy
school.

Achol Cecilia Anyang a one of the graduate student who studies ICT

at the age of 20 above many girls are looking to get married as soon as
possible but that is not the best way the best thing that you can ever do
is to get a skill that you know best rather than staying and being a keeper
at home not that way; you can change your life and work somewhere instead
of asking all the time from the people she stressed.

She urge young girls who being forces to get married at the earlier age to
attend vocational training to help themselves instead of being a caretakers
at home adding that girls need to be independent this is a digital world
whereby you don’t defend on someone else you have to struggle each day for
