President approves first phase of Yei dialogue with opposition, says Governor

The President of the Republic has approved the first phase of the
peace dialogue with the armed opposition in Yei River, reveals State
Governor.

Radio Easter quoted David Lokonga Moses saying President Salva Kiir
appointed Martine Elia Lomurö as a focal point in the implementation
of the first phase of the dialogue.

He says the government is ready to start the first of part and that
the president is glad for the initiative

Lokonga hopes to include Church leaders, women, youth and chiefs to
join the dialogue for peace to prevail in the state

The Governor was speaking to Radio Easter after returning from Juba on Friday.
