Confusion erupts among IDPs during food distribution, confirms official Don Bosco Radio Saturday, June 3, 2017 - 14:26
Confusion erupted on Thursday among internally displaced persons, IDPs during a distribution of food items. The IDPs were told to group themselves into two groups to receive the food items, but they mix-up, says Santino Chol Garang, Supervisor of South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in Tonj State, Don Bosco Radio reports. He claims that some IDPs did not get food items because they were absent during the verification day. Chol says the relief food is the last because it was a one month program. He says policemen and women were deployed in the distribution centre to protect the beneficiaries from robbers. Chol appeals to people to be patient when receiving food aid to make work easier. The Supervisor made the comments on Friday in Tonj. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/southsudankob View this message at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/southsudankob/topic-id/message-id For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
