cal3d fully supports 3ds max armatures i think, so if some of the new blender
bone types could be matched to those then it would be even better :)
of course somone could just use blenders armature code instead of cal3d ... ;)

hello,
has anyone looked at the upcoming Blender 2.40 armature system, and the
cal3d export script? i suppose as cal3d probably has the same model as
before the basics of the exporting wont really change even though Blender
has now new bone types (bendy, hinge, ..) etc., i.e. when preparing for
cal3d modellers must be just restricted to what it supports, like with
earlier Blenders too .. right?
as many of you probably know, due to the rewrite of the whole armature
system in Blender, also the armature python api code has been rewritten
now. the getters were recently added to CVS, and i hope they are being
tested by exporters now/soon .. and would like to hear experiences about it
from e.g. you guys. setters are still to come but that is no issue here i
guess..
