Hi, No currently it lacks the speed and the lod (level of detail) function to be used as a land system. It is designed so you can increase detail on a subtriangle. To see this function you have to start the programm "procplanet.py", press 2 times "a" and the "f", by pressing "l" you'll see the triangles created. So the functionality is there to create a lod system, however it seems as it's currently not possible to create something like a land-system for soya in python.
So it's currently more of a play- and object-creation tool.
