Hello. I have had some troubles getting lighting and shadows to look
good in indoor levels. It seems like both shadows and lighting
"ignore" geometry and shadows are cast through walls and lights shine
through it. For example, I have two rooms like this:

+-------------+

      l1
+-------------+

+-------------+

That is how the rooms look like from above, l1 is a light source and
the lines is walls that separate them from each other. My problem is
that light from l1 will shine through the wall and illuminate the
bottom room too. But that is not right, the light should be blocked by
the wall and not shine through it. The same thing happens with
shadows.

How do solve this? Do I need to place the rooms in separate portals or
something? Also, does anyone have some tips on how to make a light
source that illuminates like a candle or a torch? Any advice is
greatly appreciated. Thanks
