Hi! I'm creating a game using Soya (great library!), however I understand that the version in (stable and released) Ubuntu is quite old and buggy. I have mainly two options: 1) Try to cope with that. 2) Build a new version.
Most of the times I'd say "number 2" unconditionally, but if I choose it I'll have to force everybody willing to play the game to use unstable Ubuntu, to build Soya from source or to use Windows. Is it worth? Of course, if there were backports of new Soya versions for at least Ubuntu 6.06, that would make my choice easy, but today it's not easy to have a new Soya version on this Ubuntu release. Thank you, -- Felipe. _______________________________________________ Soya-user mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/soya-user
