It had been four days since Admiral Samuel Lasiter had passed out.
Despite his nightmare the first night of his recovery Doc Brennan let him
recover at his sister's house on the Chesapeake Bay. He had actually
spent the first two days there fishing, napping, playing cards with his
sister and her husband. In general having a good old time. Then came the
third day of his four day vacation. He was getting a bit antsy. He had
absolutely zero contact with Starfleet except to call Dr. Brennan every 6
hours or so to let him know how he was doing. Now that it was the last
day he could not take it..... At least until....

It was the first shift of the new day. The last shift in
"darkness" was ending and the new shift was coming on. Audra was just
entering Ops when she saw the impressive figure of a Caitian in SF
uniform standing at her post. Upon approach he turned and she saw that it
was M'Rrenn.

"Commander Firehawk, good morning. It is strange to see you here
on your day off. I thought that you were going fishing with the CinC this
morning. He will be rather put out is you blow him off, as he was so
looking forward to seeing you. And going fishing." the large cat added
after a brief pause.

All of this struck the young woman funny. Not humorous, but odd.
She had no knowledge of this fishing trip, and certainly no plans to take
leave.

Upon sensing her surprise M'Rrenn added, "I am taking your watch
shift today. Get going....."

******* about 20 minutes later on earth, Lasiter's sisters home. *****

The door bell rang, and the door opened.

"Ms. Firehawk, it is good to see you. I thought that you may have
forgotten our little trip. Let's get going while the blues are still
biting. Shall we?" Lasiter said in greeting, obviously feeling better.
