"Thank you, Ms Firehawk. I am feeling much better." Lasiter said
walking out of the door, leading her to the boat that they were to use on
their fishing trip. " Resting here with my sister and her family has done
me some good. However, you are too kind. I called M'Rrenn last night and
told him that I wanted to see you today. This fishing trip was my idea, I
hope you do not mind. I fear that I have been ignoring you, and that is
something thta I do feel terribly about. It wsa always my intention that
in addition to having Admiral Renaud brevit you to LCMR that I would also
mentor you in the ways of being a good officer. It is to your credit that
you have done so well, despite my efforts." he said ending with a slight joke.
"I did not just want to see you today, but I wanted to pick your brain. You
are a valuable commodity to me. You are very intelligent, honest, and have not
been corrupted by bad habbits yet."
