The report continued. "Good morning, John. Well it appears as if
Starfleet has yet another trouble, and this time it hits home. The home
port of the fleet to be exact, and from within Starfleet Command itself.
In speaking with sources close to the investigation at both Starfleet JAG
and in Spacedock Security I have learned that Dr. Matthew Brennan is now a
suspect inthe assult case on fellow member of Starfleet Command, Admiral
t'Llweiir. Admiral t'Llweiir is the chief of SF Intell, and this blow to
the security of SF Command and to the fleet is potientially huge.
Sources say that while the Intell Chief was on her morning
workout, as precrribed by Dr. Brennan after her last assult some 6 weeks
previous, she was attacked once more. This time Dr. Brennan was amoung
those in security to come to her aide. Sources also say that Dr. Brennan
alone entered the holodeck, locking out others, in the attempt to help his
fellow Admiral. The suspicision lies in what happend inside the holodeck.
The assailiant managed to get away, and Dr. Brennan does not remember what
happened inside. Security and JAG officials believe that Admiral Brennan
is not telling all that he knows, and that he may have even helped plan
the attack and aide in the attackers escape.
We are here at the Starfleet Command Building in San Francisco
trying to get the official reaction from SF Commander in Chief, Admiral
Samuel Lasiter. His office would not comment, and the spokesbeing from SF
Command stated simply ' We have no comment at this time. We feel that it
would be inapproperiate to comment on an on going investigation. Anything that
is said may only serve to impede the investigation into who attacked
Admiral t'Llweiir.'
It appears that Admiral Lasiter has not been able to bring order
to a Starlfeet that appears to all that it is fast approaching a
state of chaos. Live from SF Command in San Francisco, Earth this is
