"Intell gets rid of the overhead of running those teams. The work
of Special Opeations is not duplicated in Intel. Intel gets to focus on
the job that they were chartered to do- analyze data and run spy missions.
Running missions is a pain in the ass, and a distraction to the honest
owrk of the intell community. Handing the distraction over to another
group makes sense. Especially since this other group was chartered with
the sole goal in mind."
