It was early morning. Something was about to happen this day. It was in
the air. It was in the stale air of the space station, and everyone could
smell it. It was like going outside on a hot, humid mornng in summer. The
air is different. heavy, damp, no wet..... This was never a good thing
when one was on Spacedock....
Admiral Renaud woke and started his usual routine. Thistime his
routine was broken by a message. Simply, urgent briefing at 0745hrs. The
details of the message told Lorin that he would be having another rousing
meeting with the Security and intell staff led by the slightly arrogant
Captain John Black out on the border. As usual M'Rrenn would be there, but
this time Special Operations would be there too.......

******Elsewhere on the station..... *********
Kitanya had been up for some time now. She nad not been sleeping well, and
the strange conversations that she had last night with Admiral t'Llhweiir
about Matt and her own mate, had only served to aggrevate her bad habbit.
It was in the middle of her morning exercise routine that the message got to
her. There was a highly important, and classified, briefing that was to
happen at 0745 hours in a briefing room on station. Folks from Intell and
Security would be there. The meeting was to be led by a Captain John Cook
Black, the assistant director of a multi organization task force and the
chief of staff for a sector commander out on the border somewhere.

Upon arrival people were taking their seats as a lonely ensign was passing
out materials for the briefing. The screen was still showing the Starfleet
logo. A moment later the image blinked and the face of an attractive man
appeared. The mad was the mad of the hour, Captain Black.

"Good morning everyone. I am so sorry to call you together at this crazy
hour. I have some very important news to relay to all of you, and a plan to
introduce......" the man said calling the meetin to order...
