OOC: Sorry, I forgot a few things of interest.
Also, early in the morning, David Boulay had a meeting of sorts with Markus
Garibaldi. They talked about a few things, but mostly about a favor. To
help repair relations between Admiral Lasiter and Admiral Renaud. Garibaldi
seemed to think that in the coming days and weeks that Lasiter would need
Renaud, despite the opinion of Lasiter.
That conversation being concluded Gariabldi went on his way and Boulay went
about his duties.
Renaud and Kitanya had also attended a early morning briefing from Captain
John Black, acting Director of the Joint Task Force that is iinvestigating a
rash of pirate activity. At this meeting some new information was revealed
as was a plan to gather intell. To send a small force of ships to monitor
and explore the invading feline species region of space. To have a look
around and see what can be learned about them- society, technology, etc.
The goal is to learn as much as possible, without being detected, to better
prepare for the inevitable enslaught.
Another visitor has come to town as well, Rear Admiral Tyrus Lasiter. This
is the younger brother of the CinC. Younger by about 12 years. He is the
executive officer of the 9th Starfleet, the largest single fleet body within
Starfleet.
Security is having a meeting with Intell to get more information on the
"Romulan" woman that attacked Admiral t'Llhweiir. Lt. Holt has been sent to
the Mars Intell complex to talk to another Lt. to get the information. Holt
is finding some resistance, but that was expected.
Lasiter and the Romulan Ambassador have been passing notes..... notes
regarding Doc. Brennan.
Official Starbase time: roughly 1045 hours. Press Conference is at 1100
