first time that I heard that he was a suspect was in the news report. Since
Dr. Brennan was part of the team that was present to deal with the
emergency, I can not imagine why he would be a suspect. Please keep in mind
and relay to your respective audiences that, he did take an active role in
trying to get to Admiral t'Llhweiir and to provide her with medical
attention. That is something that we should not lose sight
of."
"If Dr. Brennan is eventually ruled out as a suspect, which you seem
to indicate is possible, then what kind of a crime are we dealing with here? A
crime motivated by racial hatred, an assasination attempt, a random violent
act... are there any other motives or suspects at this time?" Typical
reporter, always trying to get two questions in the same sentence. She ruffled
her feathers lightly, readjusting her recorder.
Lasiter was hoping to to have to go there, but
he now had to.
"Without getting to specific, the
investigation does not have a particular focus at this time.
All avenues are being looked into, but I think that it is safe to say
that this is not a random act." He said to answer her question, and to move on
