Dais nodded. "I appreciate that, sir. I think the biggest hurdle will
be getting caught up to everything that has been going on. While Ms.
Firehawk briefed me, I am sure that it will take more than that to
understand the complexities of the current climate on the station."
"It took me a awhile, and I came out of retirement for this job." Lorin
smiled, "You will, at some point, meet my wife, Admiral Candance Bedru. She
heads up the Exploration division at this time."
"I look forward to meeting her" replied Dais. He paused a moment before
coninuing. "Sir, I was curious. Ms. Firehawk noted that she is assisting in
one of the investigations. I also know that the Marines are assisting with
station security, but I was wondering what other departments are assisting
in the investigation?"
"JAG (Judge Advocate General), Security, Ops under Firehawk and along with
the marines, some limited Intell."
"Well, sir. I am sure that K'Tael is a wonderful officer, but considering
the current caseload and the importance of some of these
cases, are Special Ops, Intell, or even Starfleet Security assisting?"
"Special Ops is headed by Admiral Garibaldi and he has not been involved at
all...just hasn't been a consideration and I head up Starfleet Security, and
yes we have been assisting."
Dais found that he was comfortable talking to Renaud. "I appreciate your
candor, sir."

Just then the chimes rang announcing the arrival of the Klingon Security
