After spending a number of hours setting things up in the quarters that she
was going to be sharing with her father, Jafira decided that she needed a
break. She could have grabbed a meal from the replicator, but that would
not have been as interesting. She had already spent more than enough time
in their quarters.
She exited her quarters. She remembered hearing about the Promenade and
decided that it would be a good way to get to know some people on the
station. Considering the time of day, it should be bustling.
It did not take long for her turbolift to arrive. She stepped off and was
amazed at the scenery. The place was packed with people from any number of
species. There were stores and restaurants and theaters and all sorts of
entertainment available.
