M'Rrenn could say nothing, but his face was another story. He tried to
convey a message to take it easy. To step carefully.

Lasiter just listened, and thought. He was not happy. He had wanted
Black to run the operation on the other side. He knew Black. He could
trust Black.

When Lasiter finally did reply his tone said it all. It said that he
was really not happy that Black was being left behind. He also was not
happy about the position it was putting Starfleet in. Afterall, this entire
thing started out as a multi-jurisdictional task force within the
Federation, and now it was being turned over to Starfleet and The Klingons.
Not good....

"Admiral Kitanya, you are hardly seen as just the training
officer. Captain Black would not be able to countermand any order that you
give, even if it falls under his part of the mission. Combined with the
fact that you *are* from Starfleet Command.... " he said frustrated. He
took a deep breath, then said, "If that is the way that they Klingons will
require it, then so be it. I do want a task force assembled to maintain
security, and to serve as a fail safe force. If you need muscle or need to
prevent a breakthrough there will be a force there to repell it. Please ask
your contacts wtih the Klingons if they would like to send a few ships to
that force. Three or so would do. M'Rrenn, have the regional commander
assemble a task force of 5 starships to agument those already in the area.
Captain Black can pick his command ship.

Is there anything else, Admirals?"
