Before she departed a call came in for the two of them.
"Lt. Dixon to Commander K'Tael and LCMR. Firehawk. I am
conducting the search of Specialist Edwards' crew locker in the flight prep
locker room. I have found some bomb making tools and components, as well as
some of the explosive. Looks like he was not too smart. Instead of using
all that he was given, he decided to take some and make a few additional
bombs to do lord knows with. A unit from ordinance is here dismanteling the
bombs to a state where they are completely safe to transport. Once I am done
here I will have of the goodies here taken to evidence lock up in Central
Security. Just thought that you would want to know."
"Well, it would seem that we can arrest, Mr. Edwards for plotting a terrorist
act."
Audra nodded. "Let's hope we will be able to get him on more than that.
When I get to Ops, I am going to check out his banking records."

His records indicated that he was quite a bit wealthier than one at his
rank and position should be. Several thousand wealthier. One neat deposit
shortly before and after the assult.
<Well, this would support the idea that he was being paid to place the bomb.
We now have a possible and likely motive with the money and his connection
with anti-Venasian organizations and opportunity to commit the crime. We may
just have him. Now, we just have to decide if we are willing to settle for
just Edwards or if we want to keep pressing for who he worked for. I am
going to assume that K'Tael is going to want them all,> she thought as she
copied the necessary deposit records.
